Hi, I’m Jay Cohen from Blass Law and I wanna talk about what to do when the police ask questions.
The police come out and they think you were involved in something. And they’ve got a lot to ask, but you don’t have a lot to answer. What you do have to answer is your name and date of birth, but that’s never enough. The police are gonna have more questions and more accusations, and they can say whatever they want to get a response from you. They can lie.
We see them do it in these interviews and on the witness stand, but it’s important to remember now is not the time to tell your side of the story or answer any other questions.
Now is the time to be polite, share your name and date of birth, and that’s it.
If you find yourself in a situation where you’re getting questioned by the cops, call us at Blass Law.
